Percy Priest Lake camping opportunities range from primitive tent campsites to full water and electrical hookup campsites. Whether you are looking for a site to pitch your tent or park your recreational vehicle you should be able to find a camp location that fits your needs. All the developed camping locations at Percy Priest Lake feature restrooms, shower facilities, fresh water, and dump stations. Camping fees range from $14 - $24 depending on campsite location and camp facilities. Campgrounds also charge a daily visitor fee of $3 per person per day.

For the more adventurous camper primitive camping is also available on select islands. To determine if camping is allowed on an island look for a white post bearing a tent symbol. Make sure to read the camping rules on the post before unpacking gear and equipment.

Firewood from outside the area is not permitted at the campsites on Percy Priest Lake. It is recommended that campers collect firewood at or near your camping destination.

The camping season runs from approximately April - October and varies by campground.

In addition camping most developed campgrounds also feature day use recreational opportunities including boat launch ramps, picnic shelter rentals, swimming beaches, fishing areas, playgrounds for the children, hiking trails, biking trails, and wildlife viewing areas.
